We are a radio control model flying club, local to Clacton On Sea in the UK. We fly  aeroplanes, helicopters (both IC and electric) and some gliders, even the odd lawn mower, pig, or anything else that can be made to fly !
Flying a model aircraft is a very relaxing hobby to have, and as pilots progress in flying their model they can take a test that is documented within the BMFA handbook resulting in achievement certificates which are recognised nationally. There are different levels - A, B or C in planes, A and B in helicopters.
It's a whole lot of fun !

If you want to have a look and a chat, just pop down to our flying field. We fly most Saturdays, Sundays from 12.30 p.m. and most days during the week, weather permitting, so most of the time you will find someone there to talk to.
